Jedi Knight is a great series. Severance is the best overall
2019 gaming is way too different and intense as compared to this list. Sure nostalgic but 2019 is an era of gaming!! Cheers!!

I love this genre. You have a good list. I have not played the Savage games or jedi knight. Although everybody has different taste , my favourites are : 1 Severance 2 Die by the sword 3 Conan (by TDK) 4 Mount & blade 5 Knights of the temple
a good fps doesnt have to be fast paced.... look at Deus Ex and System Shock...
Mount&Blade is in a league of its own. No game has ever managed to came close to the depth and accessibility of its trademark melee combat mechanics. It defined a standard that many game titles including Chivalry, War of the Roses, Mordhau, Of Kings and Men and most recently Kingdom Come Deliverance tried to emulate or got inspired by. Can't wait for Mount&Blade 2: Bannerlord.
What's Starsiege: Tribes? Never heard of it. First Natural Selection and classic cs, I miss those games... good times. The rest is pretty meh...

i remember when i was 15yo i used to play half-life:deathmatch on LAN party with my friends it was badass great moments ever then i discovered call of duty 4 those were the days man !!. i cant believe you put it in the list as the great FPS of all time. i knew that game would become history. now im 28 and all we see is fortnite ahahah
a true rating, not based on noobish sequences and visual bonanza RUNE!!! thats however never seen of the best ever (for me) and i just noted Heretic2 mentioned, yes that was brutal too, brutal dynamics, i prefered Heretic1 however and Hexen

Timesplitters 2 and Timeplitters future perfect are my fav. Most recently I have Killing Floor 2 in my fav too.
Warband's combat is clunky as hell and can be unresponsive at times and even do the opposite of what you're trying to do. Thankfully the rest of the game is good.

Jedi Academy's combat > Jedi Outcast's. Too many DFA's in Outcast, very difficult to hit with in JKA.
